Ever Rose Canadian Style Icon: Laura Mitbrodt
We are so excited to introduce you to another Canadian Style Icon. This time we're checking in with Laura Mitbrodt, the stylish lady behind Laura Jane Atelier, a Victoria, B.C.-based blog. Columnist, actress, and blogger, we adore Laura for her approachable style. Like Ever Rose, Laura favours totally wearable pieces that are also memorable, feminine, and simply fun. Plus, Laura's one of the few Canadian style bloggers that posts virtually every single day, giving you fresh new style ideas that are actually easy to nab from both a price point and retailer perspective. What can we say? Laura's a gal we'd love to go shopping with - and we're sure you will too.
We asked Laura what her fave styles were from Ever Rose and she flipped out for the Moving To The Country Dress. This gingham stunner can be dressed up in a range of ways - from picnic pretty to retro bombshell to countryfied cutie. With her fresh watermelon bag and contrasting accessories, we love the way Laura made this classic fit and flare dress her own.
We also thought it'd be fun to pick out a few other dresses that perfectly align with Laura's fresh, playful style. Laura isn't a girl that shies away from prints or colour - which this all-over floral maxi has both of. We handpicked another fresh cut - the Sugar Magnolia Maxi - as a breezy daytime look that can be worn just about anywhere.
A good portion of Laura's wardrobe has a slightly boho-meets-70 vibe to it, like with this effortless blue midi dress. Our Fairest of Them All dress has a similar laid-back yet chic vibe, and looks festival-ready when paired with a floppy hat and sandals. But it's also pretty as a picture for date night when worn with a cute clutch (which Laura has plenty of!) and heels.
Finally, we admire Laura's ability to update a classic silhouette - like this knee length emerald green party skirt, paired with a sparkly graphic tee and fun accessories. Love the look? We carry a virtually identical skirt in vibrant peacock blue, the Belle of the Ball skirt. As Laura shows above, it's an easy piece to dress up or down, no matter the occasion.
We're happy to be introducing you to yet another Canadian style inspiration - and we can't wait to see what Laura rocks next on her blog!
