Size Is Just A Number

One important thing to keep in mind when you're shopping at an online boutique like Ever Rose. We aren't a clothing manufacturer - instead, we stock brands from all over the world.

What you may not realize is that every brand, every manufacturer, has different definitions for their sizes. While they generally fall within certain ranges - for example, a size medium will almost always run 36-38 in the bust - they can be quite varied. In other words, a size small from one brand might fit like an extra small from another brand.

This lack of universal sizing is why we take the time to measure every piece of clothing we stock, in every size, so you have a clear idea of what size is right for you. But it's equally important to recognize that you too may not have a universal size.

Some of us freak out over having to order a size up. "But I'm never a large!" or "I've never worn a size 12 before!" Do yourself a favour - drop the vanity and don't worry about what size you are. What's really important are your measurements, and ensuring the item you're ordering will fit the way you want it to.

Also, keep in mind that some brands use totally different sizing. Sometimes they'll stick to the classic 'Small / Medium / Large', other times they may use numbers from 0-12, and still others - like UK or European brands - have numbers that start at 6 or 36 and go up from there.

In other words? Don't worry about sizes! It's perfectly normal to have a small next to a medium next to a large in your wardrobe. And if you're ever uncertain about what size will suit you best, feel free to email us for some personalized sizing advice.
